Our company Northtrek is based close to Ruka - Kuusamo on the border with Lapland.

Its great wilderness area borders Lapland to the north and Russia to the east, just south of the Arctic circle.

This area is one of the few remaining untouched wilderness areas in Europe. It is also home to the famous  Oulanka National Park, and the 75km long hiking trail called the Bears Ring (karhunkierros) home also to a wide variety of wildlife and flora.

Northtrek is proud to be a certified Local Business Partner of the Pan Parks Foundation which supports sustainable tourism, and protecting europes wilderness areas. 

Here, we specialize in our individual high quality outdoor activities for all types of groups: families, couples, companies, incentives with customer service and respect for the nature high on our list!
